On hit-n-runs
Most players despise a player who sits down, wins a quick pot and then promptly leaves the table. When considering this in a pure EV situation; however, the hit and run may actually be more profitable than if they were to stay and play. Most players tend to play better when they are winning.
When a player is up on the session, they usually have a better attitude and are taking more time with their decisions. This results in the player making better decisions instead of more gambly decisions. Some players may even be overall losing players, but when they get comfortable with a stack and develop more of a patient game, they actually become winning players. This is not the type of player you would like at your table.
On the other hand, when a player is losing, they tend to play longer and with a style that allows them to chase the money they lost. This results in less EV plays and is better for the other players at the table.
Considering this, we should always be more willing to play with the losers at the table and let the winners leave.
